Passing a null value as a prameter

I want to set a field in SQL 7.0 which currently stores valid text or numeric
data to NULL, ADO raises an error if a parameter contains Null.

Is it possible to pass Null via the parameters collection?

Don't believe so. Null must be hard-coded as a keyword within the SQL statement primarily because
arguments/variables cannot contain them and they cannot be evaluated.
