There are a lot of resources in MSDN online that walk through schemas and
creating them. There is also plenty of information avialable at
http://www.w3.org/XML/Schema, ranging from tutorials to the W3C
recommendation.

If you are familiar with VB, then you may be interested in
http://www.vbws.com/tutors/xsd/xsdvb.aspx. Yasser did a pretty good job on
this one. There is also help available on schemas in the help file that is
included with the MSXML 4.0 download, available from msdn.microsoft.com/xml.

You might also consider looking through the msnews.microsoft.public.xml
newsgroup, there is information on learning schemas there as well.
