Forms on th web
Can I built VB forms for the web and use these in ASP pages like I call a
Acive X dll?
I have to built some compliacted GUI for the web, with widgets like calender
controls and spreadsheets and wondering what the best approach would be...
Any advice is very well appreciated.
Re: Forms on th web
You can use ActiveX Documents for this purpose. Even you can convert your
existing vb standard project to ActiveX documents and use it on the Web,
there is a wizard provided for the purposes.
You need very little changes to a VB Form to convert it to ActiveX Document
and host it on Web and you can call it from your ASP page as well.
Only limitation is it will work only on Internet Explorer. That is what one
should expect from Microsoft People
