    To set up a 'href' in XSL:

    <a>
    <xsl:attributes name="href">'your url goes here'</xsl:attributes>'text for
    the link goes here.
    </a>

    If you what to use other attributes like taget="_blank" place these in the
    opening anchor tag: i.e <a taget="_blank">

    A mailto would be writen as followes:

    <a>
    <xsl:attributes name="href">mailto:'the email address goes here'</xsl:attributes>'text
    for the link goes here.
    </a>

    of-courese where the url or email will be the value take from you xml file
    in what ever form such as: <xsl:value-of select"----"/>
