    Opening a Access 2000 DB in VB6

I was just wondering that would it be better to open a Access 2000 Database
global to the entire application by putting it in the module at startup and
keeping it open untill you exit the application... or ... keep opening &
Closing the Access 2000 Database when you need it througout your application?

I think is best to open the database once and use it until app is closed
(Close DB when ending app.) speed up a bit that way specially when DB is
    big.

    good luck.

    Depends on your application.

If your application is a standalone deskton application then you can keep
the connection open. This is assuming the clients machine is the only user
    to the database.

If the database is shared in anyway then you want to use a good database
rule of thumb with connections - Open Late, Close Early..
