MS Access Error
Getting This Error:
The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another
user are attempting to change the same data at the same time.
However, this is not possible! Furthermore, this error has occured repeatedly
during Appends, Primary Key changes, field datatype changes and table imports.
The table that I'm receiving this error with have over a 250,000 rows.
I have abandoned the original db, thinking it was corrupt, and started from
a blank database. This did not help.
If you have any insight, I sure would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Rick

Re: MS Access Error
I had a similar error. It was with a lined MS SQL table. If you table is
linked it might be the same problem. It had to do with a binary field that
wasn't being assigned a value. If you table isn't linked I remember there
were a couple of other articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base when I did
my search. I think they had to do with corrupt Memo fields in Access
Tables.
