under windows NT / 200 this is easy -- press <ctrl><alt><del> and click "Task Manager" -- the task manager under the NT system is quite helpful. Under windows 9x, it's a bit trickier.. you may have to seek other tools (there is a tool that comes with visual studio that will show process handles and suchlike, but i'm not sure if it will show you memory and CPU usage)... If a rough estimate is good enough, why not download Rambooster from

    http://www.sci.fi/~borg/rambooster

    or email borg@sci.fi

when u run this utility, it can show you the current available RAM and the current CPU usage; by simple arithemtic, you can roughly figure out the stats on a program (also, it's a great way to clear up congested RAM that hasn't been freed by WinBlows)
