    Setup1.exe - Unable to locate

    Greetings:

    I have an installation error;
VB6.0 SETUP TOOLKIT: Setup1.exe - Unable to locate
    MSDART.dll

I have VB6 and I'm using PDW to distribute an Activex program -- using ADO
    on a Win 2000 system.

After this error I get errors for MSador15.dll and MSado20.tlb. They will
not install where they were suppose to go so I changed the target to $(winsyspath),
now I don't know what its default was. Can you tell me what the setting
    should be?

I check the MS knowledge base to correct the installation problems:

(Q191704 Unable to Load File to Register It During Setup) in here it tells
me to find DCom98 on my VB6 CD, but it will not load because DCom95 is loaded.
How can I remove DCOM95? This may be as simple as bringing in my VB6 CD
    to remove it.

(Q184265 Distribute ADO with the VB5 Appplication Setup Wizard) I don't have
any of the file listed to execute MDAC_TYP.exe from frmSetup1.frm.

My computer has the latest MSDART.DLL version 2.70.7713.0 and it was not
    listed as a packaged file.

Well I can use any help, everything in the application is working good but
the Ado files generate a alarming warning.

The following KB article will help you with the MSado20.tlb problem.

BUG: Error "Unable to Register MSADO15.TLB" If You Use a PDW
Package to Install a VB Application (Q299645)

I'm still thinking about the other error regarding MSDART.dll. I'll post
a reply if I find anything.

    Good luck,
    Clark
