    Labels on Top?

It seems to me that some time ago in this forum I read that a label cannot
be on top of a commandbutton, checkbox, etc...

Could anyone please verify/deny this and explain to me why? Is there a way
    around this?

Andy: That is correct. Labels are drawn directly on their containers, so if
a label and a windowed control share the same container, the label will
always appear behind the windowed control.

The only workaround I know of is to put the label in a separate container
    (frame, picturebox, form, etc.).
