Multiple Columns in a DataCombo Control

Is there a way to include multiple fields in the drop-down box of a DataCombo
or a DBCombo control. For example,
I would like to provide an employee lookup in which I display the employee
ID along with the employee name.

No. But a lot of third party controls can handle this kind of things. For
example check out Sheridan DataWidgets 3.1 or True DBCombo from Apex.
