Date comparison in XPATH

Hi,

I am selectnodes from the MSXML 4.0 DOM document using XPATH query. The
query is as follow
Set objNodes = objXMLDocument.selectNodes("//SESSION[@SEXPIRE <= '" & Format(Now,
"mm-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss") & "']")

however it does not returns the nodes with date time less than current datetime.

Does any one have solution to compare dates in xpath and select nodes
