    Kill File

I have packaged a VB application into one exe file. Users can download this
one file and install from this exe. Is there anyway to delete this exe file
after they have installed the program? I was thinking perhaps to kill the
file the first time they run the program, but are there any smoother ways
to acomplish? If there was someway that right after the install is complete
the file is deleted. Any help would be greatly appreciated? Thanks.

This would realy tick me off. Spend time to download a program and it
deletes itself? Then when I have to reinstall would I download it again?

Why would you want to do this?

Visual Basic is nice enough to include the source for the installer program.

Its not the best one out there but, hey, it comes with source code.

Modify the code to launch another exe (that you include in the setup that
shellexecutes, and waits for the setup program to finish, then that second
program could delete the setup exe.

You'll have to buy someones program that will zip all of the setup files
and make a single EXE out of them.
