VSS Automation
Does anyone have much experience with using VSS automation interface? One
of the problems with VSS is that if you delete a file that is shared, it
does not delete all instances of that file and then when you try to manually
go in and delete the other instances you can't without first purging the
first one. For users without purge rights this is a problem. I am trying
to develop an add-in in VB that would allow this to happen but there is no
delete event or method exposed by the automation interface, delete is a property
of an object not a method.
Any ideas???
Thanks

Yes, I do.

I am confused about what you are trying to do. If I delete a shared
file from a project, there should not be an automatic delete of the
file from any other project that is also using that shared file. I
suspect that I am reading a meaning from your words that is different
from what you intended. Could add some more details such as a step by
step process that you are trying to implement?
