how to not put child form's menu on mdi?

We have a requirement to put a popup menu on a Form which is an MDI Child
    form.
However, we also require that the Menus on the MDI Form remain when the
    child form is displayed.
Unfortunately, when the mdi child form shows, the MDI parent form's menu
    dissappear.
We understand why, but how do we tell VB to not change the MDI parent's menu
    regardless of the child menu?

    Luther,

Unfortunately you can't have Child AND MDI menus. One or the other. I
usually put all the menus in the MDI and make them visible or invisible as
    needed - including the 'pop-ups'.

    Cheers,

I have not checked this out personally; but, by its text description, it
sounds as if it might help you.

    Look at the "TrackPopUpMenu_Demo.zip" item.
