XML query language and scripting languages

Hi,
I am really a newbee in xml, and in fact a new bee in web programming
too. I am trying to develop a data warehouse with XML. I also need to develop
web pages that has a query form that allow users to search data in that warehouse.

For this purpose, what languages (eg ASP, PHP and etc) is recommended?
and what type of query language (SQL?) is "most compatible" with XML and
related languages (ie XSL and XML Schemas).

Unless you're just playing, or you've misused the term data warehouse by
accident, you should either look at existing RDBMS technology, or start
looking at native XML databases, because the scripting-language/XML
combinations you've listed, by themselves, aren't suitable for the job.
