    a control, that dynamic resizes all my Form-controls, fit to a screen resolution

    Hello,

    I search a control, that dynamic resizes all my Form-
    controls, proportional fit to a screen resolution.

    I know the VS Elastic Light control, I have used it, but
    when I design a form with the screen resolution "small
    fonts" and the enduser uses the resolution "big fonts",
    then this control can not resize correct.

    Do you know a solution?

    Thanks

    It is not worth the trouble. It is better to just do it yourself in the form
    resize event. Generally, it takes only a few minutes to write this code for
    each form and you gain much greater flexibility. A couple of tips to make it
    easier.

    Group control together by putting them in a frame control and setting its
    border property to none.. This way you only need to move the frame and not
    each individual control.

    Use a function like this

    Function CutSingle(Value as single,optional MinVal as single) as single
    if value < minValue then
    cutsingle=minvalue
    else
    cutsingle=value
    end if
    end function

    then it is much quicker to write code like this

    list1.width = CutSingle(Me.scalewidth/2) etc

    I have struggled with the same problem and have tried a number of re-sizers.
    All resizers except one failed to work with very complex forms. I have
    an application using a Tab control with nearly 250 controls and it would
    be nearly impossible or very time consuming to write re-sizing code. If
    your form is very simple, you could write your own, but if the form is complex
    or you don't want to write the code (I have better things to do than write
    such code), I highly recommend AGFastForm from Agendum Software. You can
    find more information at agendumsoftware.com

    Unlike other controls, absolutely no programming is required and you can
    use all the intrinsic controls that come with VB. Other resizers I have
    used require that you use their tab control in order for the resizer to work.
    Simply drop the AGFastForm control on your form and that's it. No programming,
    no nothing and all controls and fonts are automatically resized -- no matter
    how complex your form is. If you wish to program AGFastForm, you can adjust
    backgroud gradients, the way in which the form opens (from center, left,
    right, etc). This tools provides extraordinary control over the form, but
    works great without any programming at all. In my application with complex
    tab controls, it worked without any programming at all.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your advise. Yesterday I have dowloaded the AGFastForm (Demo),
    but I can't install it. Why?

    Thanks

    You may wish to send them an e-mail at their e-mail address as I had little
    trouble installing the demo before I purchased the product. They usually
    respond quickly with good advice and support.

    I can't install it and I don't receive any answer from the firm. What should
    I do?
