Storing XML documents in SQL SEVER 2000 DB
I have been trying to build an automated report system for my agency. This
report system would take the data (from a FOR XML AUTO) generated by a stored
procedure and store it in a text field in a SQL 2000 table. I have tried
with WRITETEXT but it doesnt work as WRITETEXT expects a text stream and
not the results of a sub query or query. I have also investigated SQLPUT
statement and its associates and these do not really look promising. Does
someone out there know of a way to accomplish this process? If so please
email me a description of the process - I havent got much hair left.
