connecting to the ftp site from a client machine

I am trying to connect to an access database which on a ftp site but i have
not been successfull.how would we write the connection string for this.

I'm not sure about what are you trying to do, but if it means connect
to a MDB file thru an FTP site, I think that isn't possible. To connect to
a remote MDB file, You have to 'see' it thru an file system, and don't thru
an FTP or HTTP protocols. Otherwise, you will be forced to use another method,
like RDC from Microsoft.
