copy a record as new version
have data in access database. this database has many tables i.e 50.
data filled in various froms in visual basic and then send to all these tables
related to one record.
i have a requirement of creating a new version of an existing record means
make a copy of the exisitng
record and save it as latest so that user can make changes in it and previous
record becomes a part of
record history.
I am able to find the latest exisitng record using a recordid field. After
that i need to append
a new record and copy the values of existing latest record into newly appended
record.Hwo can i achieve this in shortest way.
