Is Notifications/alerts from WAP application chargeable?
Hi,
· Is it possible to send notifications/alerts to WAP cell phone (enabled
with WAP1.2) from any WAP application?
· If so will it be chargeable service for sender of receiver? Or does it
depend on mobile phone service provider?

Re: Is Notifications/alerts from WAP application chargeable?
Hi,
Sending notifications/alerts is a push technology and has already
been implemented by some service/content providers,, and if I get your question
right, the answer is it depends on your mobile phone service
provider.
Or what do you mean...

Re: Is Notifications/alerts from WAP application chargeable?
I am aware of the fact that push technology is been implemented, and my
interest is in utilizing it!
Well, All I wanted is information on how is this technology is supported in
current WAP scenario with existing WAP service providers (in US/Europe/South
Easter Asia), and also how the service providers function / cater to this
kind of service.
Thanks and Regards,
