    I'm new to WAP development. Can anyone help me to start WAP development. Which
    book is good. What tools i need and what OS and which webserver.

    Hello Sandy well to begin with firstly you have to decide whether you are
    gonna start development on the Nokia or the Erricson
    platform then go to the respective sites and download the wap developer tools
    which has a lot of adequate documentation to begin with as for the servers
    there are a few third party ones
    like waplite 1.0 check the ibm alphaworks site for some wap servers , but
    mostly the developer toolkit has a simulator to test
    the wml code u key in and a debugger so try it
