Sql Server database shrinked when stopping sql server service
I've dimensionned a 2 Go database with auto growth option set on
the database is full
when my application (devellopped with Visual Basic) attempt to insert data,
i have the following message : "Waiting delay Expired".
In entreprise manager the space allocated to my database is fully used and
i have not even 1 ko of free space.
So I forced the growth of the database and i set the allocated space to 2,5
Go it works till the backup of the server occurs
sql server is shut down and after that the databse is shrinked again and
the space allocated is reduced to the amount exactly used by data plus 0.06
Mo of free space.
if anybody had this problem I would be thankthfull if u can help me.
