    newbie easy question

    First database-driven site here.
Lets say I have some database files built in Oracle, or Access, or MySQL...ect..doesn't
    really matter for this question.

What i need to know is, once I decide on a hosting company, and upload all
my html files to the server, WHERE does my actual database data reside?
Do I export(or 'save as') from my database software into a regular tab delimited
text file and upload that? Hope someone out there understands this question.
    Thanks for any help given!
