ADO+Oracle: Empty fields cannot be edited through forms
Hi group,
I'm workin on a database project using Personal Oracle 8 and VB6.
I've used ADO for and Oracle ODBC driver for connection. I'm facing a problem.
When i store a record in the database with one of the empty fields.
It is stored without any problem but when i try to edit this empty field
after saving. I get an error message on recordset.update method that " the
record could not be located, The values have been changed since it was last
read". I'm just unable to find solution. I've tried building form using vb
data form wizard using same parameters ADO class, Orcl ODBC Drivers.but the
same problem appeared there. Please help me.
if i edit a field that has been stored with non empty values previously.
It works fine.
Thanks
