Serial Port

I need to write code for a scale thats connected to a serial port. I konw
i have to use the communication control but does anyone know where i can
get more information.

Hi,

First, you have to start with the scale manufacturer's documentation. I
have three scale examples in my book (see below), and none are exactly like
the other. You can download the NETComm.ocx control from my homepage for
the serial comms part (or use the native .NET code in my book).
