    Does anyone know how to stop a MDI

    Hello,

    Can anyone tell me how to disable the max/min of a MDI form? Not the child
    forms but the parent. I don't see a way to do this.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Rob,

    There isn't a way natural to VB to disable max/min of a MDIForm. However,
    depending on what your goal is, you might be able to get the effect you want
    by manipulating the Form_Resize event and WindowState property. For example,
    you might try adding something like this:

    Private Sub MDIForm_Resize()
    If Me.WindowState Then
    MsgBox "You may not Maximize or Minimize this Window."
    Me.WindowState = 0
    End if
    End Sub

    It isn't as pretty as you might like, but it will give you the equivalent
    functionality.

    Hope it helps,
    Dale
