control can't receive f1 keyboard event (keydown)

i use a ssdbcombo of sheridan and the
control can't receive the f1 keyboard event (ssdbcombo_keydown)

Chery:

I believe that the ssdbcombo control must have focus in order
for the keydown event to fire. If you want it to ALWAYS
fire on the F1 keypress/keydown, you should consider having
the form_keydown/form_keypress event call the
ssdbcombo_keydown sub. This way, ssdbcombo doesn't have to
have focus to work; but, will work in either case.
