    Wireless Lan Discovery

    Hi,

How a device could discover a wireless LAN? Suppose I am in a market and
when i will be near a merchant, i would like that my PDA enter in his LAN
to be accessible to server application.

It suppose that my wireless modem is listening, the AP transmit periodicly
packet for init connection, and I just would like to trap the event: "a wireless
    lan is detected!"

    Thanks.
