    DB Price List Program

Thinking of purchasing VB6 to write a stand alone price list program. I tried
to do it 2-3 years ago with VB4 but was never able to make it save the DB
to a certain file or disk do share and update other computers. ( I have
    only 1 semester VB/programming training)

    Questions

*Would it be any easyer with VB6 than VB4?

*What Version of VB6, the Pro or entry level version?

*Or is there another program that would be better suited for this?

Thanks in advance for any advise

No, it wouldn't be much easier with VB6. The language has changed little
since VB4, but there are many more options for database access.

If the entry-level version supports database access, it will do for your
    purposes.

    VB is perfectly well suited.
