move next
I would like to search for an item in a table. From that search, I want to
move backwards and forwards in the data.
When searching for a specific item in a table, I create a recordset containing
one row of data. I can't move next or move previous from that search because
the recordset contains only one item!!

Re: move next
It sounds like you want to get all of the records in a table (Select *
from tblTable), but locate a particular item in that recordset and be
able to move forward/backward.
In ADO try the .Find method, in DAO try the .FindFirst method. These
will set the current row to the first matching item, then you still
have the rest of the rows there for MoveNext/MovePrevious.
