Help to write Traceroute

HI All

I looking for code to write customised Traceroute utility just like Ping Plotter application what it does. That is I want to do continuous traceroute with given interval time and need to calculate the average response time for each hops and wanna plot graph for the same.

As I am N/W admin I am having bit of knowledge in VB thats it. Please help me to shape this project.
