    invalid key?

    Apparently my current project file "contains invalid key 'Retained'" At
    least this is the message that keeps popping up when I open my project.
    The message also asks if I want to continue loading. I click yes and
    then everything seems to work fine. Any ideas or even guesses as to
    what key it's referring to? The project does access a database which
    does have a field as a primary key but it's not named "Retained". <g>

    Sounds like you have created the project with VB 6 but are now opening the
    VBP file with VB5. If you look at the VBP file with Notepad(yes, you can
    do that, ans the VBP file is just a 'normal' text file), the only real difference
    between VB 5 and VB 6 is the addition, in the VB 6 VBP file, of a line ,
    near the end of the file which will read something like

    Retained=0

    If you delete that line from the VBP file, you can then open the VBP with
    VB 5 without the error message.
