    Memo field in Access 2000

Hi, I have a access 2000 table w/memo field and I wand to search for some
text within it. I guess I have to run a convert of some kind before searching.
Does anyone have any experience doing this ? Thanks in advance.

    Paul,
A Memo field is just like ANY other text field, except that you cannot
create an INDEX on a MEMO field. So if you want to search for some embedded
    text within a memofield:

Select * from SomeTable where MemoField like "*Some Text*"

    should work just fine.

What do you mean by "run a convert of some kind " - what do think you must
    convert to?
