refill or refresh the content of a datacombo.

hello everybody.
i want to refresh the list of my datacombo. but it do not work.
i try this:

Set datacombo1.datasource = DE
Set datacombo1.datamemeber = "customer_data"

and this

Set datacombo1.datasource = DE
datacombo1.datamemeber = customer_data

maybe someone have a suggestion. Thanks a lot
