Scripting to check for specific plug-ins in IE

Is there a way to see if a user has a specific plug-in (i.e., Adobe Acrobat)
in Microsoft IE usinf Javascript? I was able to figure it out in Netscape
but have had troubles with IE. Any way would be helpful.

    Thanks for the help!

look for something called browserhawk on the web, or pay a quick visit to
asptracker.com - I think they may have the answers to your question.
