Class not registered!
Hi
I am trying to do data shaping with ADO. I am using Win2K with IIS. I am
getting the following error:
Microsoft OLE DB Service Components (0x80040154)
Class not registered
Can anyone help?

Re: Class not registered!
I got the same prob under WinNT4 with ADO and ADSI...
I'm using ADO 2.51 (tried 2.6 but same prob).
I think it's a right related problem but I'm not quite sure (check if the
user context under which you are running has sufficient rights on the database)
Anyway if you find an answer, be kind and let me know =)

Re: Class not registered!
I am also getting 'Class Not Registered' errors, though with the DERuntime
object. It can be solved by promoting the IUSR_<machine-name> id (or whatever
Anonymous User ID you choose) to be an Administrator of the Server machine.
I am not happy with this solution, and am convinced that there is some other
route - but you may find that this gets you moving!
There are some articles in the MS MSDN / KnowledgeBase libraries.
