The last public comment I read, made by someone at Microsoft about a month
ago, said that Beta 2 is targeted for late May / early June.

The WebCast was about upgrading VB& code to VB.Net code BTW and was very

My guess is you'll hear a lot of hype about it in June (coinciding with JavaOne)
and it will be released in September (coinciding with the Java Business Expo).
Funny how these things usually get timed.
