I know Microsoft sometimes visits this newsgroup and I just wanted to report
a minor problem/issue in VS.NET RTM. When you do a find, the Method Name
combo box does not refresh itself to indicate the name of the current routine.

Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1) Start VS.NET
2) Create a new Console Application using VB.NET
3) Replace all the code in Module1.vb with the following:

Module Module1

Sub Main()

End Sub

Sub MySub1()
Dim MyVariable As Object
End Sub

Sub MySub2()
Dim MyVariable As Object
End Sub

Sub MySub2()
Dim MyVariable As Object
End Sub

End Module

4) Press Ctrl+Home so that the keyboard caret is positioned at the fist line
of the module. Note that the Method Name combo box says (Declarations).
5) Click on the Edit | Find and Replace | Find menu. The Find dialog appears
on screen.
6) In the Find what: text box, enter MyVariable.
7) Click the Find Next button. The VS.NET IDE will scroll to the MySub1 subroutine.
Note, however, the Method Name combo box does not change. It still says (Declarations).
8) Click the Find Next button. The VS.NET IDE will scroll to the MySub2 subroutine
but the Method Name combo box still says (Declarations).
9) Repeat if desired, the Method Name combo box will not refresh itself to
indicate the current routine.

No flames please, I realize this is a minor issue. I'm just reporting this
issue in the hopes Microsoft will consider fixing it in a future service
pack or version.
