Ha! Yep, them were the days, alright. Y'all see that #6 in Dan's sig? Yeah, well,
back in *those* days, I proudly claimed the #1 slot, Zane #2. **** yeah, it's useful
to trot that out every half decade, or so! <bg>

Yea, I honestly thought we'd made an impression then. Sadly,
everything/body has changed at MS and it's a new crop of clueless
kids.

A whole lot of the people from the VB4 beta are still at MS and still
associated with languages, and with vb.net in particular. I've run across
them at several events. As it turns out they just don't suare your view
of what's best.

Nope, see above. I can't recall the names of everyone who is still there
- I have trouble with names - Rob Copeland, Chris Diaz, Drew <****! kicks

I think it was how far they could bend over...

You're a moron Mike - but we already knew that. During the VB4 beta a
list of the top 10 PITA beta testers leaked out from MS - Karl was #1 and
I was #2 - Dan was way down the list, he just doesn't know how to craft a
good flame.

"leaked out", eh! Ah, sounds like sheer incontinence to me!

It was merely a lack of recognition. They don't have much of a clue
on the guys behind the curtain <g>.
I think I may have moved up on more recent lists.

Dan just needs a good prod, every now and then. He responds rather nicely given the
correct stimulus. <g>

Does this mean you won't use any language not programmed by people pushing
retirement?
Good luck

Fletcher.
And both Chris and Drew were practically still mere babes-in-the-woods on
the VB_5_ beta. Ask either of them sometime about the clipboard filled
with beta feedback notes that "went missing"
That was when VBITS was down near SFO.

Geez, look at the mess your headers are in.
Are you using some kind of web interface, or did you
fudge your system clock so you can pretend to answer faster?

Beats me. Ask Phil

Today, yeah. This machine doesn't have a news browser.
