Ah, but with Borland I have the *choice*! That is the difference. I
can "do" .Net if I want. Or leave it alone if I choose. With
Microsoft, everything is (or soon will be) .Net. The moniker is
    already ubiquitous.

Being sucked ever deeper into the cavernous black hole of universal
Microsoft computing without a shapeshift to call my name...

Poor comparison. Poison Ivy has nothing to do with computing or writing
software. You know that don't you?
Do you even work in the computer industry ? Or are you just some
15 year old who gets his kicks trolling in newsgroups ?

With VB.NET you have a choice too. You can chose to make a web enabled app.
or not. If you were to ever try it, (VB.NET) you might just be suprised at
what it is able to do.
Aren't you getting a bit horse from all the shrill noises you keep making
about something you know nothing about ?

Mike's certainly not 15, from previous posts I think he is around 60. He is
a bitter stubborn old man who hates change and is very set in his ways. I
think dot net is simply beyond him. He may also have alzheimer's.
