    structured storage in VB.Net


    Hi,

    In Windows we have structured storage system is there something similar
    in .Net

    Not sure, but you my try checking out the System.IO.IsolatedStorage
    namespace.

    As I understand it, "Structured Storage" is actually "OLE Structured
    Storage", which I think means that it is tied to COM. I suppose this is
    usable via interop, but there may be some funky things to do with properly
    releasing storages and streams.

    Desaware has released v3 of their StorageTools product, which supposedly
    provides support for using this technology in the .NET environment. I have
    not tried it yet, but probably will at some point ;-)
