VB.NET Programming with the Public Beta

I'm working my way through the 'VB.NET Programming with the Public Beta book'
by Wrox Press. I hope nobody minds if I post some questions here.

On page 80, it says "As we look at this code it will become apparent that
we could create a VB.NET form without the VS.NET IDE. Everything required
to make the form work is entirely in code - nothing is hidden in a separate
    FRX file..."

I don't think this statement regarding FRX files is correct. AFAIK, in VB6,
FRX files don't contain code. FRX files are binary files that contain binary
information, such as any graphics a form uses. This brings up a question
    - if VB.NET no longer has FRX files, where are the graphics a form uses stored?

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to knock the book. I have 8 or so books
from Wrox and they've all been excellent. I just want to make sure my understanding
    is correct.

A .Resx file, with the same name as the Form file, contains graphics
and other resources. It is then compiled to a .Resources file and
    embedded in the assembly.
