    Visual Basic DoEvents keyword


    Hi

    Is there an equivalent of the DoEvents keyword in VB.NET ?

    Can someone help me on this one.

    The DoEvents function in classic VB is replaced by the DoEvents method of
    the Application class. System.Windows.Forms.Application supplies methods
    and properties that help manage an application.

    VB.NET fully supports multi-threading so the need for DoEvents no longer exists.
    You should run your function or sub in a new thread.
