How is a Excel file to read in VB.NET

Hi,
How is a Excel file to read in VB.NET? I know a Excel file to read in the
VB6 but in the VB.NET me system report error "Old format or invalid type
library." I use the library "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\excel9.olb".
