Web Service to Windows Forms communication HELP!?

    Hi people !,

Web Service to Windows Forms communication HELP!?

help please !! how can you facilitate Web Service to Windows Forms communication
? (or at the least, what's it called ?)

what i mean is, suppose you invoke a Web Service function that should update
a TextBox on separate Windows Forms application . they are both on the same
    machine.

thanks ! any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!

    Rick,

I'm not sure where your problem is, but from your windows application you
need to set a Web Reference to your Web Service. If you can't get to your
Web Service from the Web References dialog, you are not properly exposing
your Web Service through IIS. Are you running NT/2000/XP? If not, you can't
install the ASP.NET engine and the Web Service will not process. If this
doesn't help you, please be more specific about your troubles.

    Good Luck,
    Ian
