    UserControl with Transparent BackGround

In VB6, you can set the background of an UserControl to transparent by setting
    the BackStyle property to transparent.

How do we do this in VB.NET? (You cannot do it by setting the Background
color to transparent, because I try it and it does not work.) Is it even
possible to do this in VB.NET? Please help me out.

    Thanks

    Hi appollo,

try setting the controls style flags to include supports transparent, e.g.:

    Me.SetStyle(ControlStyles.SupportsTransparentBackColor, True)
