Net framework download
I`ve worked with vb 6.0 and have produced a shareware program. I have
another in the works and am wondering if I should do the project in VB Net.
I`m concerned that it will be a hardship on the user to have to download
the net framework to demo my program. How is Microsoft going to provide the
framework in the future. Has it been added to any OS Microsoft currently
ships.
I can`t see a potential customer downloading the framework and waiting 1
hour so they can demo my program. I wonder what`s your opinion of the framework
issue.
Has Microsoft added the framework as an add -in with their general product
line.ie. Excel , etc. That would be a good way to make it available without
any download.

ummm...what IS the latest on this one? Anyone seen anything indicating how
and with what the framework will be put out? We've discussed this in the
past, but only so far as guessing that they would be throwing it out with
just about anything they could get away with?
Anyone have an informed clue?

Only that it's supposed to ship with XP Server.
