iPlanet optimization
I'm having some serious problems using Java servlets under iPlanet 4.1. I'm
only able to squeeze through 5 users per second under load testing on a PIII
running Linux with 500MB RAM. My servlet is a VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD database
access/validation application connecting to Oracle through a standard connection
pooling system. My processors don't seem to be maxing out and my DB connections
remain active and healthy during and after the test. Is there anyone out
there who has some advice on how to optimize this platform for better throughput?
