Running .net application in Network drive

    Hi,

I tried executing my .net exe(developed in the local PC ),copied to a network
share in the local PC.It gives some security errors.
How do i overcome this? Infact ,the program will invoke 'OpenFileDialog()'.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ashok

    Ashok,

    You need to run "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\mscorcfg.msc"
and adjust the security settings for your LAN. Click on the "Runtime Security
Policy" node and then click on the "Adjust Zone Security" link in the right
window pane. The rest should be self explanatory.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot.I could make changes on security stuffs. In addition to that,I
would like to know,What all libraries needed to be installed in the user
PC,where the Application would just run.My application is really tiny and
it makes use of about 10 Windows forms.

    Thanks,
    Ashok

Ashok: Probably all you need to install on the user's PC is the .NET
    Framework.
