New manged data providers in VB .NET 2003.

I heard that Visual Basic .NET 2003 has new managed data providers. Does anybody
know any specifics? The way you open the SqlClient will it stay the same?
Do they just have new data controls and objects for oracle and db2?

At least, there are OracleConnection, OracleAdapter and OracleCommand on the
    tool box.
